A straight Mullen Pelham is great for leverage and added control but with a softer rubber mouthpiece.

Straight rubber-covered Pelham bit includes a curb chain in stainless steel. Can be used with Pelham straps for a single rein or two traditional reins. The straight, rubber mouthpiece is ideal for novice riders when a stronger bit is required but caution is still required to protect the horse’s sensitive mouth.
